I got some more information about the artwork done by artist Shepard Fairey for the recent victory of president Barack Obama. MoveOn.org has released a sweet sitcker version, which can be had here for free (larger quantites available for a small donation), and a print that will be available tomorrow, November 7th at 12:30 EST. The print will be a limited run of 5000 pieces. The print can be purchased here.  These will go really quick, so make sure your there when the time arrives.

The election is now behind so its time to focus on the future.  Shepard Fairey is currently working on some new work to celebrate Barack Obama’s victory.  On Shepard’s website (Obey Giant) he posted that he has made a poster for MoveOn.org and that it will be out shortly.  As I get more information about the prints being released I will update this post.  The picture above is the print for MoveOn.org while the image below might be something that Shepard is working on.

Congratulation To Barack Obama, the 44th President Of The United States Of America.

Looks like we will be getting another version of the ever famous Barack Obama Shepard Fairey print.  “Vote” has been confirmed by Arrested Motion and will be available at Barack Obama’s website in the near future:

We have confirmed that the new Obama ”VOTE“ image which Shepard Fairey and AM premiered in DC will indeed be made into an official print to be sold on Barack Obama’s website! It should drop in the weeks prior to the election, so keep your eyes on the site.

The edition size will be 5000 and should have a $70 price point. This will be Shepard’s 2nd print in the “Artists for Obama” product line. As with everything Shepard has donated to Obama’s campaign, all proceeds will continue to support the Barack Obama campaign.

There is a very nice giclee at a very affordable price.  I can’t imagine these being around that long.  These are being sold at Zoltron.  Limited to 100. Signed & Numbered. 1 per Household.  Giclees measure 17.5″ X 24″ and are printed with 100 year archival inks onto heavy duty (225g), textured cotton-rag watercolor stock. The quality and depth is superb.

These will only be printed once and will not be rerun. Shipping is $9.50 for USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation ($24 for international shipping), and each order will include a couple of Zoltron’s Obama stickers.

Proceeds from the sales of these prints will go towards the final print run of Obama stickers to be given away in key battleground states, prior to the election.

Burlesque Design artist Wes Winship has created a sweet peace in support of Barack Obama.  The print measures 18 x 24′, is an edition of 200, and is numbered by Wes himself.  This print is part of the ongoing series currently being released at Upper Playground.  Check out the details for yourself here.
