Mickey Doodle Series- Art Prints by Lew Bannister
Lew Bannister is a print and fine artist from London, England. He has just released the latest in his Mickey Doodle Series. These little assassins of the consummerist ethos take aim directly at the greed that has completely taken over the world. The subtlety and satire found in these currency portraits point the finger directly at each and every one of us and demand we do more good and do less acquiring. Plus they are hilariously sarcastic little gems that anyone can relate to and, will undoubtedly, spark an inquiry from any viewer.
A wise man once said “Money doesnt make you rich, Life’ll make you rich.” So get richer today and pick up some of Lew’s latest and greatest works of art. This brought to you by the print club president: “Im not only the president, but I’m also a client.” —GMattD
These pieces will be today around 4 p.m. gmt at www.copymenot.co.uk

1 commentNew Print from LandLand-Bon Iver (Spring 2012 U.S. Tour)

Landland is a very small graphic design & illustration studio in Minneapolis, Minnesota comprised of Dan Black and Jessica Seamans. The posters produced by LandLand have a beautiful organic sensibility evidenced by their latest piece. They also are quite simply beautiful and technically sophisticated. I’ll Let Dan explain:
“we got the call last month to make some posters for the first leg of the current Bon Iver tour, which is wrapping up tonight in New Orleans. This was super exciting for us…in addition to being super into Bon Iver (they’re sorta like hometown heroes here, in a way), I also got to write out Coachella on a poster. Probably a small thing compared to those guys actually playing Coachella, but still pretty cool. I watched the streaming thing that first weekend, and while it probably paled in comparison to actually being there, it was really great to see those guys up in front of that massive crowd nonetheless.”
As LandLand usually does, they’ve got a few of these prints set aside for mail order, and they would love to get them into the hands of fans and the most discerning of poster connoisseur. in the inimitable words of Mr. Black: ”Do it (if you want to)!”
They’ll be available for purchase at NOON Central Standard Time Monday, April 30th at a cost of $30 in U.S. currency (+$6 for shipping/tube in the U.S., $8 to the rest of North America, or $15 to anywhere else on this entire planet). Do it (if you want to)!
