Kryptonite has a really cool new print titled “Day & Night”. This piece is a 10 x 10 inch glow in the dark silkscreen. Limited edition of 100 and printed on 110lb Lettra Flo White with glow in the dark ink. Hand numbered. Two prints overlapped on one another for a delightful surprise. During the day: I’ll love you all day. During the night: I’ll love you all night. This limited edition print is silkscreened with two passes of transparent glow in the dark ink and finished off with a blind letterpress hit. Get one of these at Shop Krypton.
Jon Smith continues his store migration over to Nakatomi, and they have just put up a ton of new and rare prints up in the Jon Smith section of the Nakatomi store!Pictured above is the awesome Cave Singers print by Jon, and what you might not realize is that it glows like crazy. They also have a small number of this print on Wood as well!
One of the nice things about Jon sending all his prints down to Nakatomi is that by going through his flatfiles, he’s finding all kinds of rarities that haven’t been on sale yet, or were thought to be sold out, like this killer Spoon NYE poster from 2007! and….
What’s a Ke$ha? I think this means that I’m old. Still, awesome print regardless. Jon has a pretty good write up about the backroom dealings that go into a gigposter, and this one in particular. Stop by Nakatomi whenever you fancy!

Steamboat Willie featured that brilliant debut of Mickey Mouse (the first released, but technically not the first animated) that was animated by UB Iwerks and featuring the voice of Walt Disney as Mickey Mouse himself. Walt decided to debut Mickey with the advent of sound – and that sly decision resulted in pure brilliance. Almost instantly Mickey Mouse became a world wide sensation. Mondo will be releasing a poster for the 1928 Disney short Steamboat Willie. This piece was created by Tom Whalen and measures 18 x 24 inches. Hand numbered edition of 200. These will be going on sale today, February 25, 2011 at a random time. Mondo is the place to be when the time is right. No comments
