My Little Pony – Christmas Prints By Steve Thomas

Dark Hall Mansion and artist Steve Thomas is ecstatic to finally release their 2012 Christmas prints for Hasbro’s worldwide phenomenon, “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.”  On sale Friday, December 7, 2012 at 9:30 AM PST pony magic will reach a new all time high when the six best pony friends, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, debut in two gorgeous new prints for your holiday pleasure.

Artist Steve Thomas, has crafted two beautiful pieces that capture not only the charm, beauty but the outright fun that is My Little Pony:  Friendship Is Magic…all done in an original and faithful manner that brings together 6 extraordinary ponies and one magical night, Christmas Eve.

All editions are 18 x 24 inches, strictly limited and numbered, and all are printed via giclee on Moab Entrada Bright White 290gsm fine paper stock.

    Nice! :-)

    Though they’re quite low-contrast and cluttered, which made them a bit less readable.
    So I let myself to pimp one of them up. I’ve deepened the background and defocus it a little bit to make the foreground stand out more. Then I teased out the Mane 6 by make them cast some shadows on their backgrounds (to give them more contrast with the background). Added more shine to the decorations and colorful glow to the light bulbs. And of course the reinbow was required instead of this lame red strip to make it 20% cooler ;-) And here’s the effect:
