Freehub – Art Print By Jeff Boyes

This image was originally made for cover of the Fall 2012 Issue of Freehub Magazine. As Jeff was drawing the image he was getting more and more excited to see it as a print as well.  Luckily Freehub was down with the idea.  There is a few minor differences between the preview image and the actual print. First of all the base silver color is actually a metallic ink, which makes it almost look like snow or ice.  Secondly, the fade behind the trees had to be a half-tone pattern in the print because it wasn’t possible to do a blend of color on that short of an area. So up close it’s dots but from a distance it’s a fade. Take a close look at the photos and you can see the difference.

“Freehub” measures 24 x 18 inches and is a small limited edition of 60, with only half of them being available for sale.  Signed and numbered by Jeff.  ”Mailing list only” sale will be on for a couple of days, then these will be put on Jeff’s website for everyone.
