Liberated Babies – Alec Thibodeau Screenprint

Category: Art Prints

Alec Thibodeau is the featured artist tonight at Tiny Showcase.  His newest showcased piece is titled “Liberated babies”.  This is a 150 hand-printed screenprint, numbered and initialed by Alec Thibodeau.  These are available now on Tiny Showcase. Today we revisit the BP Oil Spill disaster with another project from an admirable Providence-based artist in an effort to create something beautiful while raising money for something so unbearably horrific. With his painstaking line-work and familiar animal imagery, Alec Thibodeau created something so easy-on-the-eyes inspired by such an unspeakably awful tragedy. This edition of 150 screenprints was printed by the hands of the artist himself, in this city we love, Providence, RI.  $2000 dollars from the sale of his edition will be donated to the Gulf Restoration Network.
