A Brooklyn native, JMR has been inspired by his upbringing in the urban city and expressed with paintings of tangled, swooping, and jutting lines, which combine into unexpected shapes of vivid colors.

This signed and numbered edition of 40 comes screenprinted by hand (yep, no machine. Each individually pulled by hand) in four colors on 90 lb (250 gsm) Stonehenge paper and was printed by our friends at Something.Ill.

Data is back at with an amazing new piece.  This gem is a one color screen print with loads of hand finishing, the idea was to get a stained glass window effect which was greatly helped by the inks he used, when they catch the light the richness of the color is unbelievable, but pretty hard to photograph. Edition of 45 on 315gsm Heritage Bookwhite paper.  These can be had in Data’s Store.

Isle Of Bestemor measures 18 x 24 inches and is a five color screenprint.  This will cost you 30$ plus shipping, has an edition of 250, and will go for sale…right now.  Limiting people to 2 prints for the first 48 hours, just in case you’d like to give one away.   You can get these at Tyler’s website.

Jasper Johns was one of the first American “Art Stars” of the 20th Century.  The American Flag painting was the highest priced painting of a living artist in history.  Shepard Fairey has created two versions of his latest art print to pay tribute to him.  Each print (Red & Cream) are limited to 450 and measure 18 x 24 inches.  These are signed by Shepard Fairey and are currently available at Obey Giant.

Fall Back The Clock is the latest print in Aelhra’s Rose-Tinted Sunglasses series.  This came out great and makes a fine companion to Spring Break and Summer Vacation.  Release details below:

On Thursday, December 10th at 2pm (CST), Todd Slater’s newest Dead Weather and a Built to Spill + Dinosaur Jr. prints will go on sale . The Dead Weather is $40 and the BTS & Dino Jr. is $30.  Here’s a bit of info about each and all these prints can be had on Todd’s website:

The Dead Weather print is a followup to the Seattle print Todd did earlier this year and is printed with the same metallic inks.  It marks the first print done for a Scandinavian show. The print was sold at three shows during the Dead Weathers tour through Norway, Denmark and Sweden.  It was a limited print run with the band selling most at the shows.

The Built to Spill & Dinosaur Jr. is a five color screen print based on lyrics and themes on BTS’s new album. There is a variant of this print on blue paper that will go out for free to the first ten people to buy the print. You will get the version on white paper along with the blue paper variant.

On Friday at 2PM CST Todd’s newest Pixies and Ween Halloween prints will go on sale. Both prints are $30. Here’s a bit of info about each:

The imagery of the Pixies print deals with the story of Samson and Delilah which is mentioned in the Pixies song “Gouge Away”. The placement of the scissors is important here for three reasons: the cutting of Samson’s hair, the V formed over Delilah’s face and the blades going thru her eyes referencing the blinding of Samson. The first five to buy get a free test print of this print. There is a variant with copper inks that gives the print a totally different feel that will also be up on Friday.

The Ween print was for their Halloween show in New Orleans and Todd wanted to show some of the architecture and vibe that he felt in his last visit to the city. The candles and smoke are a transparent white layer printed on top of the image and I must say this is some of the tightest printing D&L has done. There is a really nice variant with navy inks that will be up on Friday as well.

Vader, officially titled “Six Against the Galaxy” is his tribute to his all-time favorite badass, Darth Vader. This piece is based on the original collage/stencil piece he did for the

NYC subway era legend, Ghost developed his unique formal technique through his involvement with the NYC Graffiti movement where he became recognized for his original style and vibrant color combinations, along with his sense of satire

‘Quik’ Lin Felton started tagging during the 1970’s in Hollis (Queens, NY), twere he grew up. He’s one of the few New York graffiti artists who made it to the art galleries and museums in the 1980’s. His work has developed far beyond the original tagging and although he preserved the spirit of the graffiti, he expanded at the same time their conceptual limits by introducing both social and personal topics into his paintings.

Good to hear that Punchgut has a brand new print coming our way.  “Your Smile Has Left Town” is a fullbleed, four color screenprint that measures 18 x 24 inches.  This piece is signed and numbered and is an edition of 150.  You can get these in the Punchgut Studios.
