This Wednesday, January 14th, Shepard Fairey will be releasing his newest edition print, “Your Eyes Here”.  “Yours Eyes Here” is from Shepard to bring you this intense piece of art.  This print is currently available at Obey Giant.   These measure 18 x 24 inches and are an edition of 450.

This sweet new piece by Dave Kinsey will be releasing today, January 14th between 10-11 AM (PST).  “Capital Punishment” measures 18 x 24 inches and is a six color screenprint.  This edition of 150 will be available when the times right at BLK/MRKT Gallery.

Jason Munn has recently added his new Sonic Youth poster to the shop.  This poster is for the San Francisco show and is part of a recent Sonic Youth poster series.  Most of the edition was sold the night of the show, but Jason has a limited amount (approximately 70) available through his site, The Small Stakes.

David Flores has a new print that is out for your taking.  “Remoh” is a two color screenprint that measures 18 x 18 inches and is limited to just 25 pieces.  These can be had at Something Ill.  All prints are signed and numbered by David Flores.

Brad Klausen did this sweet print for Widespread Panic’s NYE show.  They will be signed, but not numbered.  The entire run was 600 posters, 500 for the show and the band, and 100 for me.  These measure 15 x 24 inches and is seven colors.  This will be available on Thursday, January 7th at 1pm (PST) at Artillery Design.

Tyler Stout has created this fantastic illustration, intended for the front cover of Cohen Morano’s art book “The Rest is Up to You”.  The publisher ended up using something else for the cover.

Each print is hand-embellished, which brought the entire run of posters to life with wild and brightly-colored splashes of watercolor paint.

The prints are also signed and numbered by Cohen and Tyler Stout in an edition of 150.

Mike Klay has his first print of 2010 available.  “The Emperor’s Son” goes onsale today, January 4th at Powerslide Design.  This gem measures 12.5 x 19 inches and is a three color silkscreen with metallic silver.  This is an edition of just 100, so they won’t be around long.

With the world barreling full force into the New Year, so is Mark Pedini.  “Year Of The Tiger” is a beautiful 2010 calendar that is printed with four screens on French Newsprint Aged.  These are limited to just 80 pieces and can be had in the Gigposters Classified.

Phish is back at it!  I have no word on if they will have any after the shows, but I just wanted to share the beautiful images.  Word is they have a different colorway four each night.  So we should be getting four colorways.  Here are some pics of the first two and I will certainly keep you guys updated with the other two.

To commemorate the opening of Charles Glaubitz last show at Dirty Pilot, they published this fantastic 48 page full color, perfect bound zine titled “El Ultimo De Los Jaguares”.  Limited to only 80 books, each hand signed and numbered by Charles. If you missed out on purchasing one of Charles amazing images, here is a chance to own many of them in one beautiful narrative.  Pick yours up at the wonderful Dirty Pilot.

Mind Over Matter is Aelhra’s final print of 2009 and represents the artist taking nonlinear creative concepts and actualizing them in physical terms. In other words, translating the mind’s ether into something the rest of us can see, touch, and hang on the wall. This is what we do, and it’s something I always struggle with, boiling the “thing of it” down that much yet still retaining the conceptual essence.
