Originally a painting made in 2006, the relevance of “Taking Tree” seems to only grow larger in the void that individual privacy once filled. As the debate over why and if these actions are necessary rages on – remain mindful of who provides you information, and who takes it. A limited run of 50 “Taking Tree” archival prints, along with 15 hand-embellished prints will be released on June 20th at 12 noon (EST) at Tes One’s website.
Gene Decicco has just released his second poster called “King Of The Monsters”. Decicco is working with Igor’s Lab on this release and the poster is available on both sites (style-over-substance). They had comicbook artist Gene DeCicco do the poster because he is a huge fan of Godzilla. Gene employed a tactic known as Zip-A-Tone on the poster to give it a more Manga feel. The poster is 16×24 inches printed on 10mil Satin Poster Paper which is a composite archival material that holds up well against humidity. The ink is Solvent Inkjet Ink that stands up well against scratches, has great UV resistance and still retains great color. The posters are limited to 35 copies all signed & numbered by the artist.
